  • Aforementioned effect here (back & forward mouse buttons finish working). It has been driving me crazy.   • I'grand having this verbal same issue with an MX Primary 2S on MacOS Big Sur.

    • The forwards/back buttons sometimes randomly stop working in Google Chrome after a few hours

    • Opening a new window makes the forrad/back buttons temporarily piece of work on that window again, only the original window is all the same bugged

    • I have Logitech Options installed, I'm using it on Bluetooth

    • It has never happened earlier, it only started happening recently

    1. Make sure you have Logitech Options installed.

    2. In the acme right corner, enable application specific settings.

    3. Add Google Chrome to the listing of applications.

    5. Fix forward button -> keystroke assignment -> enter keystroke -> hit your "control" + "]" key on your keyboard.

    6. Set back button -> keystroke assignment -> enter keystroke -> striking your "command" + "[" key on your keyboard.

  • Sha South - clearing the browser enshroud (or restarting the browser) only temporarily stops the event. It is easy to cause the trouble occur again after restarting the browser. See my initial mail service. All I need to do is drag a tab from 1 Chrome window to some other, and so the back/forrad buttons no longer work in that tab (and ordinarily all the other tabs in that window).
